Our Gymnastics program has been designed to develop your child’s physical skills of agility, balance, co-ordination and climbing through the use of our brightly coloured modified equipment.
The programs are structured to develop your child’s positive personality traits including confidence and self-esteem.
Each week we combine fun, excitement and challenge in a safe, nurturing and caring environment. All sessions use specialised equipment and are run by staff specially trained to get the best out of your child. Our program is structured according to the different ages and stages of a child’s motor and cognitive development.
Our Levels
- Bubs: 6 months to 18 months
- Toddlers: 18 months to 2 years
- Mini’s: 2-3 years
- Little: 3-4 years
- Junior: 4 & 5 years
- Active: 6-8 years (Recreational)
- Active: 9-12 years (Recreational)
Bubs: 6 months to 18 months
With parental involvement, each 45 minute session will help stimulate and encourage your ‘Bubs' to use all their senses, gently and without pressure. Playing, exploring, crawling and learning together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Toddlers: 18 months (walking) to 2 years
These classes have been designed to develop motor skills in areas of agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination. We encourage your child to climb, jump and roll with more independance in a safe environment. Your child can explore freely and reinforces bonding. We use songs to encourage participation and build interest in words. We encourage and nurture social skills such as sharing and taking turns.
Mini’s: 2 - 3 years and Little’s 3-4 years
Sessions are now based around ‘activity stations’ which forms the basis for various task sequences. These have been designed to enable your child to develop their sense of balance, co-ordination and agility. Still with parental participation, your child will now start to listen to instructions.
Your child is encouraged to watch and listen carefully so they copy the tasks set at each activity station.These tasks are now more complex with more demand on their physical and cognitive skills. Your child will learn to take more risks, but to do so safely.
Junior 4/5 years and Active 6-8 years - Recreational
Sessions are now focused on even more challenging exercises and task sequences with the use of higher pieces of equipment. As your child gains more confidence the tasks are designed to further develop their co-ordination, body awareness and control. If kids are enjoying what they are doing, they are more likely to do it again and again.
Active 9-12 years - Recreational
Specially designed for children who have a passion for fun and fitness. We develop flips and somersaults and work on skills such as walkovers, rounds, handsprings, slips and somersaults. Our program is challenging, SAFE and progressive. It includes strength, flexibility and basic movement aptterns vital to all sports.
